How Ders became THE DERS in the aptly titled OLD MAN DERS:

Take one (1) classic Anders Holmvik.

ADD stress from turning 25 and not having a chunk of your life goals accomplish.

ADD one dope-ass hat.

ADD one American Dad-iator Polo Shirt costume designer Jerry Jaeger described as “perfectly hideous”.

REMOVE polo’s sleeves.

ADD comfy ass sweat pants (pants optional).

COMBINE and SPRINKLE whippets, personal pitchers, and SWAG to taste.

Marinate in POUND TOWN for desired amount of intense flavor.

Serve.

Congratulations to tumblr follower idon’tliketowork for winning this week’s “Workaholics Fan GIF of the Week”!
His “City Break Dancer Man” really captured the theme of Ders’ struggle against mortality.  You can see his Tumblr, also featuring a tremendously gross bagel bite GIF, HERE.
Want to compete for next week’s title?  Tag your GIF’s from next week’s episode “Workaholics GIF” and we’ll post the best one we find on Wednesday.

For your listening pleasure, a collection of music from OLD MAN DERS:
As Ders’ embarked on the Birthday Booze-athon, you heard “Shake Shake Shake” by White Denim.  Buy it on iTunes.
Then came the song that rocked the episode right back to the 90’s, as Seven Mary Three’s CUMBERSOME was blared from the all-american speakers of Montez’s new ride.  The scene was written specifically for this song, and Seven Mary Three was cool enough to let us pay tribute to their greatness; we hope they enjoyed Adam’s stunning rendition.
Thanks to Music Supervisor Jennifer Pyken and Music Coordinator Melany Mitchell for helping us secure the rights, and also handing out lyrics on set so we’d know EXACTLY how heavy, how light, how black, or how white the song really went.  Buy Cumbersome on iTunes, off the album CHURN, if you haven’t already!
Another producer favorite was heard on an almost subsonic level, as “Donut Brain Aliens” by The Dirty Sock Funtime Band played in the background for most of the scenes at Dante’s Pizza Palace.
This track was discovered when the guys went on a fact-finding mission to a popular children’s birthday destination, which also serves beer alongside it’s delicious pizza and features a large, non-Disney rodent.  Get your brain some alien donuts right here on iTunes.
Look for the Workaholics Mix Tape every Wednesday morning, slinging the beats that bashed the silence outta the episode from start to finish.
