Esquire just called Workaholics the funniest show you’re not watching*.

They even threw a joke in themselves, calling Jillian “Jillian Bill” instead of her given name, “Jillian Bell”. On the show, she’s “Jillian Belk”, for everyone keeping score (sabermetricians).

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Jillian didn’t do her own crazy handwriting stunts on “Real Time”.

At least not the really crazy stuff. She may have done the stuff that lines up as spoilers for an unpublished Dan Brown novel, or the cat faces, but as far as meat-and-potatoes crazy boarding, it was the Workaholics Art Department.

Now Jillian still brought the crazy; no one’s denying that. She sat in an empty dressing room she thought was hers for half the day, talking into a mirror as if it were a real person. It may have been a bit; it may have been too real. Would you have the courage to ask her? After what she did to that stand in?

Oh you didn’t hear about the stand in? There’s a conspiracy for you, I bet if you google “Jillian Bell + Stand In + Head Butt” nothing comes up. Which means someone hired the right lawyers.

Murphy. Alice Murphy.

Jillian’s boss who she takes calls for every day’s last name is “Murphy”. Not Murray. Murray is incorrect.

To be fair to Jillian, though, it does sound an awful lot like Murray.
