Script PA and candidate for Best Dressed Man in the Office Nate Crocker stands with Writer’s Assistant/Oakland Tony Goodman.
These two guys are a tower of respect for one another; some say that when one hurts, the other guy feels it. We’re lucky to have them.

Oakland Tony says, “These Workaholics ‘bout to MAN UP, East Coast. Why don’t you join them, looks like you need it.”
Is it just us, or does O.T. gets pricklier every week?
During the scene where Ders yells at Karl and tells him his wedding will never be classy because Karl is nothing but “dirty brown water trash” I was standing nearby and I started laughing, a lot.
Unfortunately Kyle could hear me and he also started laughing and basically I ruined a take. I figured they’d fire me and find a new Writers’ Assistant, but luckily nothing terrible happened.
-“Oakland” Tony Goodman

Oakland Tony says, “East Coast, watch Workaholics now. Berkeley folks, watch in 3 hours (or now if you have the east coast feed).”

Oakland Tony says, “No excuses for missing tonight’s Workaholics.”
Better listen to him, it’s on Comedy Central right now!

Pictured above is Tony (the show’s writers’ assistant), who portrayed “Oakland Tony” in the episode Old Man Ders. You might also recognize him as the creep in the gymnasium from To Friend A Predator in season 1:

As you may have noticed, neither cameo really “fits” into the episode in a specific way. The ideas for the cameos originated because the guys and showrunner, Kevin Etten, wanted Tony to dress up in ridiculous, embarrassing outfits and play a creep in at least one episode per season.
(editor’s note - Oakland Tony is actually from Berkeley)
